Getting To Long Beach
Getting To Long Beach
Long Beach being where it is, it is not at all surprising that getting there is insanely easy as pie. The easiest way is probably to start from the Los Angeles International Airport, and from there, you can rent a car (or hail a cab, or hire airport shuttles, whichever you prefer) and then go south along the 405, before switching to the 710 south at the end of which is downtown Long Beach. Uncomplicated, isn't it?
If you're coming from another airport, say, Long Beach Airport or John Wayne Airport (in Orange County), then all you have to do is to find the 710 and follow it south by taking the northbound 405. Again, these airports also offer car rentals and airport shuttles, and have a taxi bay.
There are those who prefer to drive from the Inland Empire, and what we suggest you should do is to look for 91, and take it westward until you find the 710. From there, you have to again take it southward until you reach downtown Long Beach.
For the adventurous, there are also buses and rail transits that offer Long Beach trips, and we recommend these types of transport for those who are living close to the area and are trying to save money. We will try to update this page later on with up-to-date information on standard airline, bus, and rail transit rates to Long Beach.
